Schedule and Travel

We’ll begin the day with a small family ceremony and brunch, then gather again in the evening for a larger celebration at the barn.
The evening is open to all — we hope you’ll join us for dinner, dancing, and time together.

Getting to North Haven is a bit of a journey.

We know that traveling to a small island off the coast of Maine isn’t simple, and we understand that some loved ones may not be able to join us in person. If you are making the trip, please let us know how we can help coordinate your travel—we’re happy to assist however we can.

Where to Stay

Due to limited lodging on the island, we will be coordinating accommodations for all guests.

Most guests will stay in shared rental houses (approximately $200 per room, per night). A small number of inn rooms will also be available (approximately $250 per night).

After you RSVP, we’ll follow up with more details, including housing assignments and information about contributing to the cost of your stay.

Charter Boat (Sunday)

For those joining us just for the day, we will be coordinating a private charter boat from Rockland to North Haven on Sunday morning, with a return trip to Rockland at the end of the evening. This option can be nice for someone with accommodations on the mainland.

Details and timing will be shared after RSVP. Please indicate your interest in your reply so we can plan accordingly.

North Haven Ferry

North Haven is accessible by a one-hour ferry from Rockland, Maine.

Because space for vehicles is very limited, we strongly encourage guests to park in Rockland and walk or bike onto the ferry. Parking at the ferry terminal is $17 per day, and free parking is available at Rockland High School (400 Broadway), about a 20-minute walk from the terminal.

We will arrange transportation on the island throughout the weekend. If you plan to bring a car (for example, if you are staying longer), please let us know so we can help coordinate a reservation. Walk-on passengers do not need reservations.

Ferry Schedule:
From Rockland → North Haven: 9:30am, 2:20pm, 5:15pm
From North Haven → Rockland: 7:30am, 12:30pm, 3:45pm

Please allow extra time to purchase tickets before departure.
Round-trip fares: $23 (walk-on adult), $55 (car + driver)

Be sure to board the correct ferry—boats to Vinalhaven depart from the same terminal. Your ticket is round-trip, so please keep it for your return.
